MUMBAI, India—Karan Aujla, the popular Indo-Canadian singer behind the hit song “Tauba Tauba,” has announced the Indian leg of his highly anticipated “It Was All A Dream World Tour.” The multi-city tour will kick off in December 2024, with performances across four major Indian cities.
The 27-year-old singer, who is currently based in Vancouver, took to Instagram to share the exciting news with his fans. “I’m finally coming home,” he captioned the post, expressing his eagerness to return to his roots in India.
The winter arena tour, presented and produced by Team Innovation and supported by Live Nation, will commence in the first week of December. Aujla will be taking the stage in
Chandigarh on December 7, followed by performances in
Bengaluru on December 13,
New Delhi on December 15, and
Mumbai on December 21.
Aujla, who is widely regarded as one of the most prominent names in contemporary Punjabi music, shared his excitement about the tour. “This tour marks a significant milestone in my career, highlighting my journey from a small village in Punjab to the global stage,” he said. “India has a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to bring the ‘It Was All A Dream’ tour home. I’m grateful to my fans for making this dream possible, and we’re going to celebrate together and make some history!”
The singer’s sentiments resonate with the tour’s theme, “It Was All A Dream,” signifying his remarkable journey from his humble beginnings in the village of Ghurala in Northern Punjab to achieving global success and recognition.
“Tauba Tauba,” which featured in Anand Tiwari’s “Bad Newz,” has taken the internet by storm, with fans recreating the dance moves and hook step in memes and reels. The song’s popularity has further solidified Aujla’s stature as a global artist, following the success of his billboard-charting records “Making Memories” and “Street Dreams.”
Aujla will be joined on the tour by his long-time collaborator and Toronto-based producer Ikky, adding to the dynamic and electrifying nature of the performances.
